i am travelling up the east coast and currently heading up to Yamba in northern NSW. There seems to be no dive shops in the area and i was wondering if anyone has done any diving in that area.

There's not much worth diving in Yamba itself, maybe the breakwater at slack tide and the Angourie Pool for novelty value. You're probably better off stopping at Bulli and doing Pimpinel Rock and the Solitarys on the way up.

The Padi Police means Wooli.

No diving basically between North Solitary Islands and Byron Bay.
