Wreck Description: The MV Seawolf was sitting unused in Port Lincoln Harbour for a number of years, before being donated to the Seawolves dive club for use as an artificial reef. After many many many hours of labour donated by the club cleaning out dead pigeons, pigeon guano, foam, oil, etc, cutting a few access holes, and generally cleaning and making the ship safer, she sank at 9:27am, on Saturday 23rd March, 2002 She is 32 metres long, and lies on her starboard side. Lots of penetration, including some very advanced penetrations that should only be done by experienced divers. We put on the wreck quite a few "goodies" to make it a little more interesting, have a good look, and you will be amused. Also on the wreck are welded name plates of all the dive club members, scattered around various places of the ship. Some members put their nicknames (ie, me=CD), others their full names, but have a look, and see how many you can find. There are over 30 of them, some obvious, some only the most hardened penetration diver will ever find. All up, a great wreck, 2 hours after sinking there was already life on it, and it will only get better!
