Wreck Description: The 'Birchy' was a 640 ton collier that sank on the way to Sydney from Newcastle. The wreck lays on her port side in 50 meters of water. Even though she has broken up a fair bit in the last 8 years she remains a favorite amongst the Sydney deep diving crowd.
