Description: "Little Waterfall Bay" and "The Funnel". What a sight this coastline is. The cliffs were sheer vertical walls from the ocean floor (21mts) to some 30/40mts or more above us. Under water was a hive of caverns and caves with clear water that Victorian divers only associate with perfect days. Inside the caverns was a myriad of fish and plant life, rock bottom and lots of nooks and crannies for the more timid sea creatures. The Little Waterfall Bay area has large boulders covering the seabed with the start of a kelp forest growing.
Off to the left of the dive site when facing the cliffs is a large opening that ends up closing into "The Funnel". This is one of the more enclosed caverns in this area and all sizes of cray fish are just sitting out in the open. There were small ones, there were medium ones and there were big ones all just sitting there. They seemed to know that we didn’t have licenses so we couldn't take them!
Great site to see thousands of crayfish.
