Directions: : In the back right hand corner of the bay you should be able to see the sand gutter known as Studio One. It is surrounded by a kelp forest and is the best place to anchor when the wind has any northerly component.
Description: This site is suitable for snorkellers, students and divers wanting to see Weedy Sea Dragons (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus)in a giant kelp forest. Makes a great second dive after a deep dive on North Wall or the Bombie.
The giant kelp forest (Macrocystis perifera)is a major attraction for divers visiting Tasmania in winter the kelp grows at nearly 45cm/day, the second fastest growing plant on earth.
